Conceived by the Milan-based graphic designer Virginia Rolle in 2019, The Big Bag Club is awash with larger-than-life versions of cult classics, including Chanel’s 2.55 quilted bag and Dior’s embroidered saddle bag. Although the bags look real, they have in fact been digitally supersized and superimposed onto existing imagery. ‘It’s a different way of looking at the fashion industry, it’s more relaxed and less snobbish,’ Rolle told Vogue. ‘In this way, brands look more friendly and self-mocking.’
